Endless Shrimp

My hubby and I had a chance to dine at Red Lobster when my hubby had an appointment at the VA Hospital in Fargo. We decided to go to Red Lobster after seeing a TV ad featuring their endless shrimp menu. We tried all five endless varieties of shrimp dishes like parmesan shrimp, garlic shrimp scampi, shrimp linguini alfredo, garlic-grilled shrimp and hand-breaded shrimp. They all tasted really good but my favorite was the garlic grilled shrimp and my hubby's favorite was the shrimp linguini alfredo.

Homegrown Watermelon

This is the first homegrown watermelon that we have grown to near full size. It is about the size of my head. We have been planting watermelons in our garden for the past few years but, because of the poor soil and short growing season they were not able to grow to their full size. This year we got rain nearly every week during the growing season so because of that and a little fertilizer this one grew bigger than any before it. Overall we had a good crop this year in our garden except for the corn because we planted it too late. We had the best tomato harvest of any so far.

Big Grocery Shopping Awaits!

I have been anticipating tomorrow's trip to Fargo because I can go grocery shopping at the Asian store. There is an Asian store nearby but I prefer grocery shopping in Fargo because there are a lot more choices. I am planning to buy jasmine rice, mongo beans, moringa leaves, dried fish, water spinach, tamarind and more.

We are going to Fargo because my hubby has a check up there at the VA hospital. After my hubby's check up, we will dine at Red Lobster first before shopping. My hubby will be very hungry because he had to fast for two days before his procedure.
